The Dawn initially founded by Vince and Sue in 2003. They first met in the worship band at their London church and it wasn't long before they recognised and joined their powerful vocals and production talents to write and perform together. Within the year, The Dawn was formed.

Both members of the band came with diverse and extensive experience within the music industry.

Sue had a history of performing both on stage and television, later fronting various commercial bands.

Vince's experience started in bands, playing gigs in various UK & European venues. After releasing singles when signed to with Epic, he then moved on to production, working with international artists such as Shirley Bassey, Kim Mazelle and Assylum.

Combining their experience across the music industry has enabled the band to develop this unique blend of a guitar rock/ pop/ soul genre with driving edge vocals, which The Dawn are recognised for. It also ensures that The Dawn are seen as a powerful performers both within the studio and live.

Taking their name from Matthew 4:16, The Dawn's vision is to take the light of the Word of God to all four corners of the world expressed through music, reaching the lost and inspiring Christians.

In 2005, The Dawn gigged and performed their first album 'House of Zion' throughout London, including venues such as 'The Borderline' in Soho. Their mark on the Christian scene was shown through interest from Tony Cummings and Mike Rimmer from 'Cross Rhythms' radio station, who interviewed The Dawn Live on Radio and TV 'God Channel'. House of Zion flavoured a mix of impressive rock anthem tracks along with reflective ballads.

The Dawn's long awaited second album 'RedRedRoad' is due to be released this April, along with   Vince & Sue's first visit to Nashville, TN for the GMA week, The Dawn have a busy year ahead. Look out for2008 gig dates to be announced soon!
